The Chiefs

The Chiefs (formely the Waikato Chiefs) had their first win in the competition last year when they defeated the Sharks in the final.

They are based in Hamilton and their main ground is the Waikato Stadium that holds over 25000.

In 2004 they lost the semi finals to the Brumbies and in 2009 lost the finals to the Bulls.
