The Southern Kings

They are a very new team to the competition, only formed in 2009, this is their first year in Super Rugby.

The team is based in Port Elizabeth on the south African East coast, known as the Eastern Cape.

Their home ground is the newly built Nelson Mandela Stadium that can hold 48000 fans. They show heart and a desire to win as can be seen in the winning of the 2011 IRB Nations cup.
